El Dorado

CVM (Choco Vila Mundo), based in Loja in southern Ecuador, is a coffee project founded by the family of Bernard Uhe, who has a long history of producing coffee in Ibagué, Colombia. Today, CVM continues to pursue quality across three farms, La Noria, El Dorado, and Eliza.

Since its first harvest in 2021, CVM has consistently placed among the top coffees in competitions including the Cup of Excellence and the Ecuador Golden Cup, gaining particular recognition for its Geisha coffees.

El Dorado, where this coffee was grown, has developed rapidly alongside CVM since it was acquired by the Elder family in 2017. In the highlands of the Andes, the farm works closely with local producers, cultivating coffee with a strong sense of community.

Their approach is rooted in understanding the environment and working collaboratively with the people around them, improving season by season. The coffee from El Dorado today reflects the years of experience, relationships, and careful work that have shaped the farm.
