Honduras Los Pinos Typica Honey
Los Pinos Farm is a family-run estate located in the mountainous area of San Andrés, Lempira, Honduras, passed down through generations. The producer, Renieri Orlando Carbajal Guevara, is a fourth-generation grower who has cultivated coffee with his wife for over 25 years. He regards coffee not merely as a livelihood, but as a way of life and a family legacy.
In 2012, the farm faced a severe challenge due to the spread of coffee leaf rust. During this period, the family sustained themselves through livestock farming while rebuilding the plantation. This experience ultimately strengthened their commitment to coffee and reinforced their long-term vision.
Los Pinos cultivates traditional varieties alongside native shade trees, expressing the dense and structured flavor profile characteristic of the western Honduran highlands. From 2021 to 2025, the farm consistently ranked among the top placements in the Cup of Excellence, and is now regarded as a symbol of Honduras’ coffee heritage and sustainable dedication.
