Papua New Guinea Kesonga Village AX Washed
While Papua New Guinea generally has a warm, humid tropical climate with little annual temperature variation, the Highlands include many areas rising up to 2,000 meters above sea level.
In these cooler environments, coffee trees experience greater day–night temperature differences, creating stress that encourages cherries to develop higher sugar concentration.
Papua New Guinea traditionally produces Arabica coffee based on Typica varieties.
Alongside Typica, Bourbon and Arusha — a sub-variety related to Bourbon and Typica — are also commonly cultivated.
With high elevation and well-suited varieties, these coffees offer the aromatic complexity and flavor clarity we expect from quality origins.
